Encounters with Landscapes
An evening of short films, talks and conversation about landscape and the relationship between people and place.

We will also mark the 400th anniversary of the birth of the founding father of archaeology, folklore and biography, John Aubrey, who died in Oxford.
Our participants will be:
- Paul Whitewick, archaeology and landscape YouTuber with c.250,000 subscribers
James Attlee, award-winning writer, author of Oxford psychogeographical classic Isolarion, Nocturne, Under the Rainbow and other place-specific writing- Andy B – in a late change to the line-up, the founder of The Megalithic Portal and editor of the award-winning book The Old Stones will be joining us to mark 25 years of the website
- Louise Ryland-Epton, historian specialising in early modern social history and place-based research, and John Aubrey expert
- C M Taylor, award-winning film-maker, novelist, screenwriter and lecturer.
